Man gets 10-yr jail for minor’s death

The court of principal sessions judge cum special judge, POCSO Tuensang, has sentenced a man to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of 10 years for killing a minor girl at Old Tsadang village, Tuensang on December 31, 2019.
Principal sessions judge cum special judge, POCSO, N Longshithung Ezung, while sentencing the accused– Longdili (22) under Sec 304 IPC and Sec. 4 POCSO Act, however, stated that the period of detention undergone during investigation and trial from the date of arrest would be set off.
