Marian procession carried out by Catholics at Kohima village

Christ King Church (CKC), Kohima village carried out its annual Marian procession on May 26 in Kohima. 

A press release from CKC Kohima stated that, a large number of Marian devotees, Catholics in general as well as members of various associations participated. 

Service began with a song devoted to Blessed Virgin Mary, and reflections devoted to Mary were given by Fr. James, principal Don Bosco Hr.Sec.School Kohima. The decorated statue of Mary Help of Christians was also blessed. 

The faithful started the Marian procession from Don Bosco College, Kohima and went up to Christ King Church (CKC) Kohima. The procession concluded with a Eucharistic adoration service at CKC Kohima.  According to Catholics, the month of May is devoted to Blessed Virgin Mary and throughout the month, rosary prayers are recited by the faithful.
