The new Maruti Suzuki Victoris was unveiled at a grand launch event held at Seyie Auto, Pezielietsie, Kohima, Maruti Suzuki Arena on Saturday.
Director General of Police (DGP), Rupin Sharma, graced the occasion as chief guest and unveiled the vehicle. In his address, DGP Sharma shared his personal experience with Maruti Suzuki and lauded the brand for its contributions to the Nagaland Police Force. He described Maruti Suzuki as a “leader in the Indian automotive world” and congratulated Seyie Auto for its achievements and role in generating employment.
The new model was introduced by in-house trainer Joshua, who highlighted its advanced features, including Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems). Key features include Lane Keep Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitor with Lane Change Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control with Curve Speed Reduction, High Beam Assist, Lane Departure Prevention and Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Vehicle Sway Warning.
Joshua also noted the vehicle’s tech-rich interior, featuring the Smartplay Pro X Touchscreen Infotainment System with connectivity options, app store access, and personalization features. The Victoris is priced between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 14 lakh.
Dealer principal Kuolachalie Seyie, in his speech, emphasized that the dealership’s mission goes beyond business, focusing on creating opportunities.
He shared that Seyie Auto currently employs around 300 staff, contributing to addressing unemployment in the State. He commended the team for their professionalism, discipline, and commitment.
The programme concluded with the ceremonial unveiling of the Victoris, a cake-cutting ceremony, and the symbolic handing over of keys to the first Victoris sold in Nagaland by the chief guest.
