Marwari Premier League Season 4 kicks off in Dimapur

DIMAPUR, MAR 16 (NPN):

The Marwari Yuva Manch Dimapur Shikhar, with the support of the Onkarmal Agrawal Foundation, kicked started the Marwari Premier League Season 4 in a grand ceremony at the DDSC Ground, Golaghat Road, Dimapur, on Sunday evening.
The first match was played between Team Aarav XI and Team Dada Parshuram. Aarav XI won the toss and chose to bowl first. In a thrilling contest, Team Dada Parshuram secured victory by 22 runs, with Mohit Sharma being named Man of the Match.
Earlier, the programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by dignitaries, supporters and office bearers. Among the distinguished guests were Omprakash Sethi (President, Marwari Sammelan Dimapur), Mahesh Agrawal (DMC Councillor), Kamal Kumar Jain (State Treasurer, Nagaland BJP), and Prem Pareek (Vice President, Purbottar Pradeshiya Marwari Yuva Manch Mandal-D). Program Convener Bhagirath Ojha welcomed the gathering.
A total of 12 teams are participating in this night tournament. Guests expressed appreciation for the organizers, noting that the Marwari Premier League has been successfully conducted twice this year. All guests, supporters, team owners and representatives of various communities were honored with mementos and ceremonial stoles.
The tournament trophy was unveiled by the dignitaries along with the title sponsor Onkarmal Agrawal Foundation and trophy sponsor Kiran Sports. The Purbottar Pradeshiya Marwari Yuva Manch also honored MYM Dimapur Shikhar and Amrit Samriddhi with Provincial Awards for their commendable work. The event is receiving special support from Onkarmal Agrawal Foundation, Kiran Sports, Silver Ply, Breton, Athlete’s Paradise, Maa Furnishing, Radheshyam Agrawal and Rajkumar Prajapat.
During the ceremony, team captains took an oath to uphold fairness and sportsmanship. Refreshments were arranged for all attendees and the programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem before the tournament officially began.
The tournament is being conducted under the supervision of Program Convener Bhagirath Ojha and Sports Convener Yogesh Gupta, supported by the organizing team and community leaders.
