In view of the statehood day celebration and Hornbill Festival 2022, mass social work was conducted by various government departments, business establishments and other organisations across the state, Wednesday.
Government employees and other volunteers participated in the social work by cleaning the streets, clearing debris and garbage while business establishments, wards and colonies cleaned up their respective areas. The social works were carried out at Kohima, Peren, Tening and Niuland. Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 9th Kohima Town also conducted social work.
