Hundreds of residents took part in the mass social work organized by New Market (Ser) Area Panchayat and New Market Youth Organisation in collaboration with the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) in New Market area on March 12.
The social work was conducted under the aegis of ward no. 8 New Market (Ser) Kohima. Volunteers, who were engaged for the whole day, cleared the clogged drains and also repaired the entire stretch of the approach road in the colony.
During the social work, Kohima Municipal Council provided earth mover, Tata Truck (Dipper) and roller and also assisted during the entire day of the social work.
