Mass social work carried out across Jakhama sub-division

In response to a circular issued by the Kohima district administration, a mass social work was conducted across Jakhama sub-division under Kohima district on April 10.
The initiative, led by SDO (C) Jakhama, aimed at promoting cleanliness and fostering community participation. As per the directive, all government offices and staff mandatorily took part in the cleanliness drive.
Village councils also mobilised citizens in coordination with institutions, both public and private, within their respective jurisdictions. The social work focused on cleaning key areas including village and town surroundings, highways, public roads and drainage systems, thereby reinforcing the collective responsibility towards maintaining a clean environment.
