Mass social work carried out at Wokha local ground

A mass social work under the theme, “your waste is your responsibility”, was carried out at local ground Wokha by likeminded groups and individuals on April 30.

A press release by the organisers informed that the social work was carried out by Tsumang ‘B’ Colony Eco Club (Ground Kup Sector), Wokha in collaboration with Lolo Ezung and Wokha YouTubers community supported by Tsumang ‘B’ colony council, Lotha Students Union (LSU), CAO Wokha Chichamo Tsanglao, zonal leprosy officer Wokha, Dr. Mhonchan Kithan and concerned individuals.
Additional deputy commissioner & administration Wokha Town Council T. Lankonsen Tsanglao expressed his gratitude to all the participants.
He encouraged citizens to develop a sense of responsibility and work together towards a better and clean Wokha.
Lankonsen also assured all possible help to the public and NGOs towards making Wokha a clean and better environment. 
The organisers informed that lately, littering had become a cause of concern in Wokha local ground as the ground was contaminated by waste.
Earlier, the social work began with an invocation by dobashi, Tsalamo Humtsoe.
