Dimapur district administration has informed that a mass social work would be carried out on October 2 from 6 a.m. onwards in all government institutions, offices, colonies, wards and villages under Dimapur district to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti.
In a circular, the deputy commissioner Dimapur R. Soundararajan has informed all HoDs, heads of offices, ward/colony and village authorities to make necessary arrangements for the mass social work in their respective offices and areas.
Dimapur Municipal Council, administrators of all town councils and all concerned Hq/outpost administrative offices have been asked to supervise and ensure necessary arrangements like garbage collection and disposal etc.
DC stated that all necessary COVID-19 precautions would be strictly adhered to during the drive.
