Deputy Commissioner Peren, Hiazu Meru, has reminded all District Officers that, as per the decision of the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB), a mass social work will be conducted across the district every fourth Friday of the month.
In this regard, the DC has directed Administrative Officers in all subdivisions to fix a suitable date for the social work activity in their respective areas. Extra Assistant Commissioner, Sadar Peren, and Head DB have been tasked with supervising the programme and submitting regular reports.
The monthly initiative aims to promote community participation and improve cleanliness and public infrastructure in the district.
