Mass social work in Tuensang

Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has informed the citizens of Tuensang district that as part of the Monsoon Preparedness, the second phase of the district wide social work will be conducted across all the Towns and Villages under Tuensang district on June 5.
According to a DIPR report, the drive includes cleaning of drains, public spaces, clearing of blocked culvert and other precautionary measures to reduce monsoon related risks.
In this regard, the DC directed the Forest Department, Education Institution, local organisations and SHGs to organise a plantation drive on the same day to mark the observance of World Environment Day.
