The ‘Mayangnokcha Award’ for Academic excellence which is considered as the highest and the most coveted award in the field of education was bestowed on Chentisangla Longkumer from G Rio School, Kohima, in the category of overall topper amongst the Naga students from within the State.
The award components consisted of Rs 25,000 along with memento and certificate of merit.
Nazneen Akhtar Tapadar from Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, who topped
HSLC 2015 with an aggregate percentage of 97.16 %, would be awarded the
NBSE Award and the Governor’s Award with a cash prize of Rs 25,000 each along with medal and citations.
