CorrespondentMOKOKCHUNG, AUG 29 (NPN)

As part of its Quasquicentennial Celebration (1900–2025), Mopungchuket Baptist Church (MBC) sponsored a two-day Multispeciality Health Camp for the welfare of Asetkong Range, beginning August 29 at the ANM School of Nursing, Impur.
Interacting with media persons, MBC pastor Rev. Jongpong stated that the free health camp was organized to herald the upcoming 125th anniversary of the church and to extend its outreach to fellow villages in the range.
On day one, Dr. Moa informed that 17 Mopungchuket-native doctors and seven in-law doctors attended to over 400 registered patients, with more expected to arrive. He said the camp was conducted on a “mega mission” scale, equipped with proper infrastructure, medical equipment, 15 technicians, and supported by over 70 staff nurses and ANM students.
Dr. Imli expressed gratitude to MBC, the medical team, and well-wishers for their collective effort in providing comprehensive healthcare services—including free medicines, surgical procedures, Ayurveda, and Homeopathy.
On the second day on Saturday, the camp will be held at Mopungchuket village, continuing the church’s commitment to community welfare and holistic healing.
