MCC holds 11th students council election

DIMAPUR

Model Christian College (MCC) conducted its 11th Students’ Council General Election on August 2, at the college auditorium. The event, aimed at electing the new batch of student leaders, began with an engaging common platform session, where candidates shared their visions for the college. This was followed by a thorough Q&A session, allowing students to gain insights into the candidates’ plans and aspirations.
After the ballots were counted, the newly elected student leaders were announced as follows: The new team will be led by Shilumoa Longkumer as president, Pangyen Roumon as vice president, Kupuli V. as general secretary and Tsuweng as treasurer. The results declaration was followed by an oath-taking ceremony led by the principal, and concluded with a closing prayer by HoD Education, Jamkhanmoi Tombing.
