MCC Kohima hosts HIV and AIDS awareness drive

Model Christian College (MCC), Kohima, through its Red Ribbon Club, organized an HIV and AIDS Awareness and Screening programme in collaboration with the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society on Saturday at the college auditorium.
District Programme Officer, DAPCU, Sentimongla Tzudir was the resource person and spoke on HIV and AIDS transmission, prevention and the importance of early screening and healthcare support. She also highlighted ongoing initiatives and stressed the need to remove social stigma.
The programme featured a musical performance by Vimugha Yeptho (B.A 3rd Semester), and a special message from Sulivi Assumi, Social and Cultural Secretary of LTTYO, encouraging community participation in health awareness efforts.
Free health screenings were conducted for attendees. The event was hosted by Liniu V Yepthomi (B.A 5th Semester), with an invocation by Eteu Cho (B.A 5th Semester), and a welcome address by Red Ribbon Club Nodal Officer Kevilenuo Zao.
