Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) Yimyu conducted felicitation programme for B.Ed trainees (2015-17 batch) on Wednesday.
The programme was organized in honour of 11 trainees who managed to secure spot in the top 20 in the recently declared B.Ed results of Nagaland University. Speaking in the progamme as chief guest, Fazl Ali College principal, S. ArenlaLongkumer, lauded the achievers for their success. She also commended the collective efforts of the administration, faculty and the enthusiast learners that enabled an “immature college” to make such an exceptional achievement.
It may be mentioned that MCTE was established only in the year 2012. There were two academic years where B.Ed course was for the duration of one year. 2015-17 was the first batch after introduction of two years course.
MCTE principal, Khrienilie Nagi delivered the prelude while Imchamerenla (topper no. 2) spoke on behalf of the successful trainees.
