Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) Yimyu, conducted a two-day workshop on “Building a caring world” from October 25 to 26.
A press release from MCTE Students Union general secretary, Imlikumba stated that the workshop was conducted with eight people from Initiatives of Change (IofC) India, as resource persons. The team shared personal experiences and their transformative journeys and demonstrated through group activities and interaction, the importance of trust building, peaceful co-existence and sustainable living.
It may be noted that IofC is a world-wide movement of people of diverse cultures and backgrounds, committed to the transformation of society through changes in human motives and behaviour. Their vision is to inspire, equip and connect people to address world needs starting with the individual.
