The ongoing MDFA Trophy 2025 saw Doyang Strikers Mokokchung register their first win against Thunderbolt FC 4-0, while Telongjem FC and Intermingle Club had a goalless draw in the matches that were played today.
Playing the second match of the day Doyang Strikers Mokokchung made an easy win against Thunderbolt FC as successive goals were scored against the defensive wall of the Thunderbolt FC making them demoralized in the game.
It was early on in the game that Doyang Strikers Mokokchung started to dominate the game when Horam jersey no 10 found the net in the 8th minute thereby leading the game 1-0. However, the score board did not moved till the first half of the game. It was only after the break that Toka Achumi jersey no 8 scored the second goal in the 52nd minute.
The third goal followed soon as Ganghui jersey no 15 scored the third goal. The fourth and the last goal of the game was scored by Horam again in the 67th minute thus sealing the fate of Thunderbolt FC. There was not even an equalizer goal from the Thunderbolt FC. The score line stood at 4-0 as the referee blew the final whistle.
Earlier in the first match, Telongjem FC and Intermingle Club played a goalless draw.
