Medical camps held in various Mokokchung villages

Under the initiative of minister of Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland, a one-day medical camp was held in a few villages under district health society (DHS) Mokokchung on August 26.  
The villages included Longkhum, Mangmetong, Sabangya, Chungtia, Aliba , Kinunger, Khensa, Mekuli and Alichen. 
A total of 827 patients were given free medical check- ups and necessary medicines. 
Besides, IEC leaflets on different health aspects were distributed and health advices were given bringing more health awareness. 
All the designated doctors, nurses and different health personnel took active participation in carrying out the different activities. Dr Sentikumba Imchen, Dr Vehuto Puro from Naga Hospital Kohima and Dr Khezo Tetseo from Mon also extended their help in the camp. Dr Kibangkumba Dy.CMO Mokokchung supervised and co- ordinated the health teams in different villages.
