Kuki community of Medziphema town observed its 2nd triennal meet on January 14 under the chairmanship of Dr. S. Hangsing and secretary Paolenthang Sithlhou.
DGP Nagaland, L. L. Doungel graced the occasion as the chief host, director Supply Alun Hangsing was the chief guest while advisor to collective leadership GPRN/NSCN, C. Singson was the guest of honour. The triennal meet was initiated by the Kuki community Medziphema as a celebration of unity, peace, development and understanding among one another.
Highlights of the programme included cultural dances and songs by the Kuki Baptist Youth Endeavour, Kuki Christian Khangthah, Kuki Youth and Students’ Union and individuals. The programme ended with a note of gratitude from the chairman, Kuki Community Medziphema Lunneh Hangsing followed by entertainment which included modern songs and dances in the evening.
