Meet on water supply in Phek town

DIMAPUR

A consultative meeting on water supply issues in Phek Town was held at the Office Chamber of DC Phek on July 24. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Rhosietho Ngouri, DIPR report informed.
Ngouri expressed optimism about the potential for adequate water supply in the area and urged citizens to cooperate. Representatives from Phek Town Council, Head GB, Head DB, Phek Town Public Forum, and Executive Engineer of PHED shared views and suggestions to improve future water access.
It was decided that the Phek Town Public Forum and PHED officials would jointly visit Laka lake/river after August 15 to assess possibilities for enhancing water supply to the town.
