The meeting of Tuensang District Task Force for Immunization was held under the chairmanship of DC Tuensang Nokchasashi at the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner office Tuensang on April 26.
A DIPR report stated that at the meeting, Dr. Imtijunshi Aier District Programme Officer (RCH & UIP) Tuensang, presented the status report of the immunization of the district percentage of zero dose children, dropout rates, and the reasons for dropout.
He further highlighted the challenges to achieving immunization coverage in the district. He also sought the support of all NGOs, and stakeholders in achieving the target percentage.
DC also commented that all the convergent departments, such as Social Welfare, School Education, and Health & Family Welfare should play an active role and ensured that children take up doses of routine immunization vaccine and support the MR elimination campaign.
