DIMAPUR: A meeting on the implementation of the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026 and monitoring of key project indicators (KPI) in compliance with Supreme Court Civil Appeal No. 6174/2023 was held at the DPDB Hall, Kiphire, on August 27.
According to DIPR report, the session was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer, and attended by all concerned members. Participants presented reports, status updates and relevant documents pertaining to solid waste management for detailed deliberation.
The meeting focused on strengthening implementation measures, reviewing departmental progress and identifying necessary courses of action to ensure compliance with the mandated rules and judicial directives.
