The Senior Men’s Inter-District One Day Tournament 2024 concluded with two thrilling final matches held at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, showcasing exceptional cricket talent and fierce competition.
Chümoukedima defeated Longleng by 7 wickets in a high-stakes encounter. Jonathan Rongsen’s outstanding bowling performance, claiming 4 wickets for just 17 runs, earned him the “Player of the Match” title. Longleng struggled to set a challenging target, posting 62 runs in 24.4 overs, with Rajesh Das contributing 12 runs.
In the second match Dimapur beat Mon by 10-wicket. Shamphri Terang’s exceptional batting display, scoring an unbeaten 68 runs off just 34 balls, earned him the “Player of the Match” award.


Boys under 16 inter-district tournament
Peren beat Chümoukedima by 10 wickets at St. Xavier College Ground, Jalukie Peren. Chümoukedima won the toss and elected to bat first but struggled to make an impact, posting a total of 62 runs before being all out in their first innings.
Peren responded strongly, putting up a substantial score of 168 runs in their first innings.
In the second innings, Chümoukedima improved their performance, scoring 106 runs before losing all their wickets.
However, Peren’s bowlers proved too strong for Chümoukedima, restricting them to just 1 run in the second innings.
Peren chased down the target comfortably, winning the match by 10 wickets, showcasing their dominance in the game.
