Lapiye Centre for Mental Well-Being organised a programme on “mental health awareness and counseling community” outreach from July 8 to 12 at SBAK Zunheboto Town Baptist Church, Kiyeku Baptist church and Satakha Higher Secondary School, under Zunheboto district.
In a press release, Lapiye centre for mental well-being informed that during the programmes, resource person, counseling psychologist, Lovitoli Awomi spoke on the topic “the need of mental health awareness in present context”.
More than 400 people including youth, students, parents, teachers and church leaders participated in the programme.
The church leaders and school teachers also initiated the programmes at respective locations, with prayers.
The programmes concluded with individual counseling session.
