Metsubo inaugurates Arok Salang meeting hall at Kichutip Ward

Minister for Rural Development & SIRD, Metsubo Jamir, Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed meeting hall of Arok Salang at Kichutip Ward, Mokokchung. The hall was built under the LADP iconic project 2023–24 for the 27 Mokokchung Town Assembly constituency.
Attending the inaugural programme as guest of honour, Metsubo congratulated the people of his constituency for successfully completing the project. He noted that this was the third iconic project completed in the constituency and expressed gratitude for the construction of the hall, dedicating it to the people of the ward.
Metsubo said the hall symbolizes the unity and strength of the community, and urged citizens to extend cooperation for further development in the days ahead. He expressed hope that through mutual understanding and collective effort, “we will face any challenges together that will come our way.”
Earlier, the welcome address was delivered by Er. Sentiwapang of Kichutip Ward Yimten, while a short speech was given by Imkumniba Kichu, councilor MMC. The technical report on the construction was presented by Sashi Imchen.
