The MGM College Alumni Association organised a Talent Hunt Programme at MGM College on August 29, providing students a platform to showcase their creativity, confidence and stage presence.
The programme brought together the college principal, faculty members, alumni, guests and students and aimed to encourage students to explore and develop their abilities beyond the classroom.
Principal Dr R. K. Behera encouraged students to actively participate in such programmes and make use of opportunities to discover and showcase their talents. He said talent, when combined with confidence, discipline and dedication, could create avenues for personal and professional growth.
The competition featured a range of performances, with alumni members serving as judges. Manzen P. Konyak, Semester V, Education, secured the first position, while Apili, Semester I, English, and Eyilobeni T. Ngullie, Semester V, Sociology, secured the second and third positions, respectively.
The Education Department was adjudged the winner of the Best Department Performance.
The programme concluded with the felicitation of the winners.
The association said the event reflected its commitment to student engagement, holistic development and nurturing young talent while strengthening ties between the college, its alumni and students.
