MGM College holds workshop on social entrepreneurship

MGM College,Dimapur  in collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India organized a one day workshop on NEP 2020 on the topic “Social  Entrepreneurship, for higher Educational Institutions” on February 11. 

According to media cell of the college, the resource person Project Coordinator Social Entrepreneurship, Swachta and Rural Engagement Cell (SES-REC), Abhishek Ranjan spoke on understanding the vision of SES-REC; how to promote social entrepreneurship and shared different examples and case studies related to SES-REC. 

An institutional level business plan competition will be organized where students can share their business plans and inputs.  Altogether 35 participants attended the workshop. 

During the seminar principal, Fr. Dr. P. S. Varghese highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and need of skill education in the present context.  

The seminar ended with vote of thanks by Asst. Prof. Department of Sociology, Washimongla.
