MGM College celebrated its annual cultural-cum-literary meet on March 1. The event showcased a rich blend of intellectual and artistic expressions, bringing together students and faculty in a spirit of learning and tradition.
Presidential address was delivered by Fr. Giju George, administrator, who emphasized the significance of holistic education through cultural and literary pursuits. Highlighting the cultural significance of the event, Chunchamwiliu Newmai, Cultural Secretary, spoke about the importance of preserving and celebrating diverse traditions in an academic space.
The literary session featured engaging competitions, including debate, slam poetry, spelling bee, art competition, and essay writing, allowing students to showcase their eloquence, creativity, and critical thinking skills. The cultural session witnessed performances such as cultural dance, traditional storytelling, traditional attire showcase, folk fusion song, etc.
