MGM College Dimapur 5th and 3rd semester students organized its 7th freshers for their juniors’ of 2023 batch under the theme “Minimalistic” on August 19 at the college auditorium.
Diya Sangma was crowned ‘Miss Fresher 2023’, while Venboih won the ‘Mr Fresher 2023’ title.
The programme was graced by Miss Queen of Nagaland 2022, Shelly Achumi, as the guest of honour and as the judge. Invitees from nearby colleges and alumnus of MGM College attended the programme.
The programme started with an invocation by MGM College Evangelical Union president, Heihangsapbe of 5th semester. Principal Fr. Dr. P.S. Varghese in his speech highlighted the importance of freshers’ day and farewell in an institution. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by cultural secretary.
