MGMHSS organises teachers’ orientation

One day teachers’ orientation programme was organised by St. Thomas Mission Society, the parent body of MGM Higher Secondary School in collaboration with International Youth Fellowship (IYF) Mind Education, South Korea on February 29.
In the programme, principal, Rev. Fr. P.S. Varghese stressed on the importance of mind education and encouraged the teachers to change the stereotyped-mindset for a holistic development of the child.
IYF Nagaland, International Mind Education Specialist Director, Rev. Hyeonyong Choi said “change of one’s mind bring change of one’s life, change of one’s mind brings change of the world.” He further emphasized that true happiness comes from good mind and not having all the success, money or power in life.
The session was divided into three sections wherein initially teachers were trained to have a healthy mind followed by teachers discussion and lastly by presentation by teacher groups.
