ST. Thomas Mission society and MGOS Church, Dimapur organized a felicitation program for MGMHSS HSSLC and HSSLC rank holders and school toppers on May 27 at 11 a.m at the church.
According to a press release from the school, Reji Kuriakose, committee member, welcomed the guests. In his presidential address Rev. Fr. P. S. Varghse, highlighted St. Thomas Society’s different philanthropy initiatives.
Dr. Manoj Prabhkar, HOD, management, Nagaland University was the chief guest for the function. Toppers of Class 10, Class 11 and 12, science, arts and commerce students, distinction holders, MGM hostel distinction holders along with teachers of MGMHSS and MGM College were felicitated during the programme. All together Rs. 75000 was awarded as scholarship and meritorious prizes. On behalf of all meritorious students Pawan Sharma, HSSLC, science, 9th rank holder, gave a speech. The programme ended with vote of thanks by Er. Renji Thomas followed by lunch.
Around 140 people participated in the programme including church members.
