MGOS Church, Midland, Dimapur celebrated the Patron Saints Feast on November 10 and 11 with a procession, devotional address and Holy Communion.
Chief celebrant, Rev. Fr V J Oommen from Kerala exhorted the congregation on the life of Saint Gregarious, referring to him as a ‘Mirror for generations’.
After an evening prayer on Saturday, a candle light procession proceeded from the Church to PWD junction. On Sunday morning, prayers started at 8 am followed by a holy communion, procession, Sunday School students programs, and a love feast. Malayalees from Kohima, Jorhat, Tinsukia and from remote places of Nagaland attended the feast.
In the public meeting, vicar Fr. Dr. P. S Varghese welcomed all guests, while secretary, Manju Mathew proposed the vote of thanks. A variety of programs were conducted by Sunday School students of Dimapur and Kohima along with MGM hostellers and special invitees. Residents of the neighbourhood orphanage presented songs. Around 300 people participated in the feast.
