Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM), in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Tuensang Lower Section, commemorated the “Millet Mela” as a part of the ‘International Year of Millet’ on August 29 at GHSS Auditorium Tuensang.
The event was graced by Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa as special guest.
The Millet Mela included Millet recipe competition, where Noklak Block, Chessore Block, and Panso Block secured the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions respectively.
The event was chaired by Hongsangsonla AC Livelihood Sangsangnyu. Thrikyuse Sangtam, ADPM Tuensang, delivered welcome address, while short speeches were delivered by Ebou Chang, BDO Sangsangnyu, and Tsalito, in-charge GHSS Lower Section. Vote of thanks was offered by Sepila M Sangtam, District Functional Specialist.
