Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio, deputy chief minister Y. Patton, and Naga People’s Front (NPF) have expressed deep pain over the demise of Phanglou Chang, father of P. Bashangmongba Chang, minister for Housing & Mechanical, who passed away on Friday in Tuensang Town after a prolonged illness.
CM: In his condolence message, chief minister Rio conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the government and his family.
Remembering Phanglou Chang’s enduring strength and quiet resilience, Rio prayed for peace and strength for the bereaved family and eternal rest for the departed soul.
Patton: Deputy CM Y. Patton also extended his condolences, stating that Phanglou Chang was a respected elder known for his quiet contributions to the community. “His presence will be missed by all who knew him,” Patton said, and offered prayers for comfort to the grieving family and for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NPF: NPF, through its Press Bureau, described the late Chang as a respected leader and man of humility, wisdom, and strength. The party conveyed its deepest sympathies to minister Bashangmongba Chang and his family and prayed that Almighty grant comfort and strength and for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
