Officials of Minister’s team, Higher and Technical Education and Tribal Affairs, Nagaland, Kohima, visited Sao Chang College (SCC), Tuensang on November 28, to get first hand information on the problems, requirements and achievements of the college.
A press release by convenor, Media cell, SCC, stated that during their visit to the college, the team conducted meeting with teaching faculty and deliberated on college developmental activities including ongoing preparatory process for National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) assessment.
They also visited RUSA project poly houses including Naga king chilly cultivation in the college as part of vocationalization of higher education and encouraged teaching faculty to remain updated with latest knowledge and skills to improve the quality of teaching profession.
The team assured that the grievances and requirements expressed to them will be conveyed to the minister for necessary improvement of the college in academic, co-curricular and other infrastructural necessities.
