A 7-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an 11-year-old boy in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district. The police have registered a case against the juvenile accused under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) on the basis of a complaint lodged by the survivor’s mother.
The alleged offence is said to have taken place on Saturday, April 18. The police have initiated an investigation into the case.
