Mishra meets NSCN (I-M) delegation

Government of India’s representative for Naga talks, A.K. Mishra Friday met NSCN (I-M) core group led by its chief negotiator Th Muivah at police complex Chümoukedima on Friday.
Muivah, who is currently camping at the Police complex, was accompanied by around 10 senior NSCN (I-M) leaders. The closed-door meeting was held for around two hours. Another meeting with a larger group of around 30-40 NSCN (I-M) leaders will be held on Saturday. This will be Mishra’s third meeting with NSCN (I-M) leaders before he returns to Delhi on Monday.
Besides NSCN (I-M) delegation, Mishra also held meetings with Naga Hoho and some political party leaders on Saturday. Though Mishra has met chief minister Neiphiu Rio, he was yet to meet members of the Core Committee on Naga Political Issue headed by Rio.
