Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE), Kohima organised a national webinar on “role of National Social Science Documentation Centre (NASSDOC), ICSSR with special reference to library and information support services to researchers in social sciences” on August 12.
In a press release, MITE informed that during the webinar, resource person, director of NASSDOC, ICSSR, New Delhi Ramesh Yernagula shared insights about ICSSR, roles of NASSDOC, ICSSR schemes, etc.
He advised the participants to become a member of NASSDOC library in order to get up to date details, which would be resourceful especially in research.
Earlier, managing director, MITE Pelee Hekha delivered welcome address while assistant professor, MITE, Limanenla Lkk moderated the webinar and valedictory note was delivered by vice-principal, MITE, H.L. Gangte. It may be mentioned that the webinar was conducted as a part of research and development cell, MITE with associate professor, MITE, Dr. G. Jaganmohana Rao as coordinator.
