Free heart screening camps will be conducted at IMDH (District Hospital) Mokokchung and NHAK on June 9 and 12 respectively.
A press release from deputy director, DH&FW, Dr. Khriesi Sachu said that the heart screening camps are being conducted by National Health Mission (NHM) in collaboration with Shija Hospitals Imphal and SKY Hospital and Research Centre Imphal.
The mission director of National Health Mission has also requested citizens to avail of the opportunity. Children in the age group of 0-18 years diagnosed with heart diseases will be given free treatment and management at Shija Hospitals and Research Institute Imphal and SKY Hospital and Research Centre Imphal, the release added.
