
Four departments of Mount Mary College (MMC), Chümoukedima have conducted four national webinars during the period of June and July.
A press release by MMC Chümoukedima stated that, the fourth and last webinar was organized by the department of Botany on 14 on the topic, “Biodiversity and welfare of human being”. Speakers of the webinar were prof. (Dr.) Amal Kumar Mondal , prof and coordinator, Botany, Vidyasagar University, West Bengal and prof. (Dr.) Dhabe Arvind Shankarrao and HoD, Botany, Dr. B.A.M University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
Earlier, on June 26 the department of Psychology conducted the first webinar on the topic, “Coping stress during COVID-19,” where the main speaker of the webinar was Dr. Imlisongla Longkumar, assistant professor of Psychology, Nagaland University.
The second webinar was on the topic, “Education in the 21st century” organized by the department of Education on June 30, where the main speakers were Dr. Marmar Mukhopadhyay, director of Educational Technology and Management Academy, New Delhi and prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Rai, prof. and HoD Education, Nagaland University.
The department of English organized the third webinar on July 3 on the topic, “Emily Bronte’s treatment of intense love in Wuthering Heights”. Dr. Geeta Janet Dkhar assistant professor of English, Shillong College was the main speaker.
