Mobile training underway at Kiphire

Mobile repairing training, organized by Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship Dimapur (IIE) in collaboration with Hill Vocational Training Center, Kiphire, and sponsored by MSME, Government of India, got underway at Kiphire. The training which begins February 2 would continue for 125 hours with Elias Watsu and Sutiba Sangtam as the resource persons.
Speaking at the formal programme as a special guest on February 5, Loyola Antony, Vice Principal of Loyola Higher Secondary School, Kiphire, said, “many youth and dropped out live leisurely wasting time, but today you have intentions and desire in you to attend this training programme which is in your own kitchen.” He said the programme is a privilege for the youth that the government is freely training with no cost.
Tsithrise, Chairman of Rest House Ward, Kiphire, who also exhorted the trainees, said that it is a privilege for the youngster of Kiphire for imparting such free trainings by the IIE and MSME, Government of India, in collaboration with the Hills Vocational Training Center, Kiphire. He said that the elders of Kiphire expected to achieve various skills through this kind of training programme for skill development and self employment. The short programme was chaired by Louis Sangtam, chairman of HVTCK.
