Model Christian College held a felicitation programme in honour of Linoka K. Achumi, a student of the institution who was recently crowned Miss Nagaland 2025. The event, held at the college auditorium, brought together faculty, students and college management to celebrate her achievement.
Managing Director S. P. Francis congratulated Linoka, praising her sincerity and dedication and thanking her for bringing laurels to the college.
Head of the Department of English, Thethem Hangsing, speaking on behalf of the faculty, commended Linoka for her grace, hard work and commitment, noting that her accomplishment reflected the institution’s emphasis on excellence and perseverance.
The college management presented Linoka with a citation, bouquet and cash award in recognition of her achievement. Linoka expressed her gratitude for the support she received from the college and shared her excitement about representing the state on a larger platform. She also acknowledged the encouragement of her teachers, mentors and peers.
