Mokokchung Law College hosts 2nd federal assembly of NLSF

2nd federal assembly of Nagaland Law Student’s Federation (NLSF) was hosted by Mokokchung Law College (MLC) on February 10 at Ao Students’ Conference Hall.

While delivering the presidential speech, C Talimoa Chishi stated that for a vibrant democracy, the independent development of the three pillars of executive, legislative and judiciary was of upmost importance in a nation.

However, he lamented that the importance of the legal field in the state of Nagaland was left significantly neglected and ignored, which he added was a major concern.

The president further affirmed that apart from the commitment of NLSF to stand for the betterment and upliftment of the law students of Nagaland, NLSF would dedicate itself to usher the early completion of the Nagaland High Court, establishment of a Government Law College and setting up of a Directorate of Prosecution in the state.

Earlier, the federal assembly was chaired by NLSF speaker Imtisungit Kichu and vote of thanks by NLSF deputy speaker, Akum Longkumer, while invocation was pronounced by NLSF AGS, Atoni Shohe and benediction by MLC president, Bendangla.
