Mokokchung Press Club (MPC) held its annual get-together on February 25 at Menüng River, Longjang. The club members were joined by the spouses and family members and friends.
The annual get together in the form of picnic was held as a means to relax, to learn from each other and also to find means and ways as to how best to serve the society as members of the fourth estate.
MPC in a release stated that over the years since its foundation, the club has been playing a proactive role in the Mokokchung society. At present, the club has more than fifteen members representing different print and audio-visual houses. The club is headed by Limalenden Longkumer as president and Sashimeren Jamir as the general secretary.
