DIMAPUR: The district level introduction and launching programme for the Bike Outreach Worker allocated to the DISHA Unit, Mon, was held on August 24 at the CMO office complex, Mon, in the presence of ADC, Pakon Phom, and Dr. Cheyale Kath, DVBO, Mon. It was informed that the new outreach worker will be attached to TI, JACAOA, Tobu.
Speaking at the programme, the ADC expressed gratitude to NSACS for prioritising Mon district and encouraged the DISHA team to utilise the Bike Outreach initiative to deliver vital HIV and STI prevention, testing, counselling, and basic health services to remote and hard to reach areas of the district.
