During this unprecedented pandemic, health workers of Mon district are not only facing the pandemic in real time by putting their lives at risk to save others but also facing untold challenges while rendering service.
The selfless service of these health workers was highlighted by National Health Mission (NHM) Mon, Media Officer (MO), LeeyanChemshy, who asserted that during the ongoing pandemic, the lifestyle, freedom and thoughts of these “heroes” have changed. However, the MO maintained that the strength of the health workers remained the same.
The media officer said these health workers have never complained of assigned tasks even under harsh conditions. Despite having to navigate difficult terrain and difficult situations, Chemshy said they still move forward fighting hard to protect the citizens.
