Mon police launch ORT and Traffic Cell in Tizit

Mon district police have introduced a Quick Reaction Team (QRT) and a Traffic Cell in Tizit to improve public safety and law enforcement.
Inaugurating the initiative, Superintendent of Police, Mon, Kanchan Kumar Kandpal, emphasized the need for quick response teams in sensitive areas. He informed that the QRT will ensure swift action in law and order situations to protect the public.
While the newly established Traffic Cell aims to regulate road safety, improve traffic management, and ensure smooth movement in the region.
According to Addl SP Mon Police, T. Ado Yanlem, the launch event was attended by police personnel, officials, and civil society representatives, who welcomed the initiative and expressed their support for the police’s efforts in maintaining safety and order.
Mon district police affirmed to work towards strengthening security and building strong community relationships to create a safe environment for everyone.
