Chief medical office (CMO), Peren district under the chairmanship of Dr. Tiala, deputy chief medical officer (DCMO) held monthly district review meeting at IDSP conference hall, CMO Peren January 7.
The meeting was attended by district programme officers, senior medical officers, medical officers and health workers from the health centres, district and block program management unit staff, NHM.
Speaking at the meeting, DCMO Dr. Tiala informed about the upcoming 1st round of Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI), which would be held January18 till 20 and 2nd round from February 20 till 22. She instructed on how and what to be done during the IPPI and requested medical officers to monitor and supervise during the IPPI in their respective health units.
Further, DCMO highlighted on the latest reproductive child health register training, which would be given to all the health workers. She also pointed out concerning Village Health Nutrition Day (VHND) that needed to be strictly conducted on a monthly basis. On the Health Management Information System (HMIS) report, DCMO said it was conducted for the month of November 2014, where all together 87 villages were covered.
During the programme, it was informed that Health Mela would be conducted by the end of the month and that the next review meeting was scheduled to be held on February 5.
