Indian Dental Association (IDANSB) and NIDA Kiphire unit have also extended support to Nagaland In-Service Doctors’ Association (NIDA)’s demand for extension of superannuation age of all in-service doctors from 60 to 62 years.
IDANSB president, Dr. Seto Kera and honorary secretary, Dr Wangshimenba Ozukum asserted that NIDA’s demand was genuine and was being implemented in almost all states in the country. It also urged the state government for creation of Dental Surgeon post in the newly created districts and CHCs to fill up the existing vacancies through proper channel. It also called for expediting the starting of the medical colleges in Kohima and Mon district.
NIDA Kiphire unit: Reaffirming its support to the central body’s decision on superannuation issue, the NIDA Kiphire district unit said that following Prime Minister’s announcement to enhance superannuation age of doctors, NIDA has been pursuing state government to implement the same as most states in the country have implemented it.
NIDA Kiphire unit through its media cell has, therefore, urged the state government to implement it without further delay.
